The building and its property were sold by Romulus Public Schools to Earl Equipment Co. in 1964. They would own this property for close to 20 years.

A transportation company called NANKIN Transportation, Inc. purchased the property from Earl Equipment Co. in 1983. The company began operating in September 1983.
