The large building located at/on 8100 Middlebelt Road in Romulus, Michigan was originally constructed as an annex building for Gordonier School (Gordonier Elementary School) in 1961. The building and its property were sold by Romulus Public Schools to Earl Equipment Co. in 1964. They would own this property for close to 20 years.

 

Unfortunately Earl Equipment Co. had to file for bankruptcy. A private liquidation sale of the assets and properties of the Earle Equipment Co. began at 8:30 am on Thursday, September 29, 1983 as mandated by order of the US Bankruptcy Court. (Ref: https://www.newspapers.com/newspage/98005349/)

A transportation company called NANKIN Transportation, Inc. purchased the property from Earl Equipment Co. in 1983. The company began operating in September 1983.
