Satin Jackets – Back In The Days is one of the more overlooked EP’s from German music producer Tim Bernhardt. This EP did not gain much notoriety or recognition. This EP got overshadowed by other electronic releases during the early half of the 2010s decade. 'Back In The Days' is a great piece of modern disco, funk, and electronic house.
The synthesized horns are what make the Original Mix of Back In The Days even better than all those other remixes. Rich grand piano chords is what makes this song have such a beautiful heavenly lounge vibe. Also there is a perfectly executed break-passage at the 1:45 mark with the drum. Funk meets the heavenly sounds of jazz, electronic house, and disco on Back In The Days (Original Mix) which is why you can hear all of those funky guitars and rich piano chords. A bit of reverb is added to the brass sections. The track gets especially good once a slight reverb is added, elevating the track to a whole other scale.
Days Like Candy (Salta Mortale Remix) is one of those songs that will send you into a deepened trance that is everlasting. Overall Days Like Candy (Salta Mortale Remix) is a perfect piece of modern disco, rock, and funk. Those electronic keyboards chords hit with pure perfection along with a classic violin selection.
The original version of Days Like Candy [Days Like Candy (Original)] is just as good and almost as perfect as Days Like Candy (Salta Mortale Remix). However this original is not as upbeat or eloquent as the Salta Mortale Remix is. However this song can still manage to do numbers on the dance floor or in a lounge. Days Like Candy (Original) has a perfect lounge vibe.
I rate this EP 4/5****!
