The Collapse EP is another masterpiece from virtuoso and electronic music producer Aphex Twin. Now most Aphex Twin releases almost never fail to amaze or pleasure fans of his audience. Unique electronic soundscapes are used on many of his songs. The calm chilling yet ambient tune Pthex is included and so is the darker electronic tune MT1 t29r2. Electronic music from the 2010s can’t get any better than this.

The tuning and staccato drums are what make a perfect vibe on 1st 44. The tuning is perfect. 1st 44 is one of those songs that will really stick in your head for an extended period of time. 1st 44 will make make you appreciate the dopeness of Aphex Twin. Always good when electronic sounds organic.

Pthex is the bonus track to the Collapse EP which I’m sure many of knew about already. The track is a great calm chilling yet ambient tune with ethereal chords and a surreal feeling.

MT1 t29r2 is one of the much darker tunes on the EP which is not as calm or ambient as T69 collapse or Pthex are. This electronic tune is definitely more upbeat in tempo and nature than the other songs. The bells deep bass, chords, and percussion are what make this Aphex Twin song beautiful.
