History of the Leander Gin Company in Leander, Texas explored. A lost chapter in ginning history.

The Leander Gin Company was established on the date of June 26, 1912 as a domestic for-profit corporation to operate for ginning purposes and as a cotton gin. (Ref: https://bizstanding.com/p/leander+gin+co+the-10707086)

The Leander Gin Company was chartered with a capital stock of $10,000 dollars. The incorporators were H. L. Starnes, L. F. Chapman, and J. E. Humble. Stamen Sherril, E. O. Strickler, and H. L. J. E. Humble sold several blocks and lots to Leander Gin Company (Leander Gin Co) on the date of August 1, 1912 through a warranty deed and deed of trust. J. E. The Leander Gin Company bought new machinery and constructed new buildings right after purchasing land from J. E.
