Swanky Trailer Park first opened up at the location of 1003 63rd Street, Galveston, Texas in the year of 1949 on land that was owned by L. Rodgers. Swanky Trailer Park first appeared in an advertisement in the local newspaper in 1949. 1952 was the year Swanky Trailer Park moved to 6303 Avenue J (now 6303 Broadway).
