This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will review the Smashed Or Get Smashed On album by Black Mikey. Black Mikey is from San Diego (SESD). Smash Or Get Smashed on was a collection of works from 2009/2010 studio sessions. Probably B Sides and/or leftovers from years ago. This album was done not too long ago when Black Mikey, himself, not too long ago just got finished doing a prison bid back in 2008. He caught a case in (2002) and went to jail for 7-8 years, but I won't get into that because that would take away from my review. Anyways...
The Suitcase Box song finds Black Mikey growing up in the Southeast with the gang culture. This song also finds Black Mikey Mikey reminiscing on about back in the days. 100 Bars was his dopest freestyle ever!!! He should have been out big years ago. But either way. I would highly recommend the 2 songs I had mention and Best Kept Secret. The Sneak Attack and The State Of The Union are also the hardest tracks on the album. I was definitely feeling the World So Cold track. The album should have been like that. Black Mikey, he’s pretty grounded in his raps nowadays. He has come back to claim Ruler of the SouthEast. Notable features are Damu and Crhymes. Black Mikey is known for mixing Old School meets New School. It goes rock hard!!
I rate this album, Smash Or Get Smashed On, 5/5*****!!
