General Motors pullouts and outsourcing in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada.

The recent General Motors pullouts and outsourcing in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada have occurred. What happened in Flint, Michigan, United States could happen to Oshawa. However it won't be as devastating towards Oshawa as it was to Flint, there would be a considerable impact. No Oshawa won't become a ghost town.

This will, however, represent a 1% increase in taxes. Currently GM pays approx. $20 million to the Oshawa Region in Canada right now. $8 million goes to the city and the region! Services would have to be cut. Especially those who need those services the most!! Focus on job creation won't hurt anyone.
Remember! What happened in Flint, Michigan, United States could happen to Oshawa.
