This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will review Tru II Flo - P.I.M.P. single!
Tru II Flo wanted to sound a lot different from the 90s Bay Area gangsta sound that was out there in California even though they retained the gangsta rap sound throughout the single Tru II Flo is Christian rap from the Bay Area. (Think Gospel Gangstaz!) P.I.M.P. is a song about getting your focus on to other things rater than prostitution, sexuality, and drugs. (This is a positive message.)
I liked the original. The dub and acappella were superb.
I rate this single, P.I.M.P., 5/5*****.
