This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will review the single I Don't Wanna Dance by Lil Fatal from Southeast San Diego, CA. This single is more party rap mixed with gangsta rap and Dance/Electronic. Sounds crunk and triv to me. Anyway, This album was released on Wrongkind, DIP Records, and Low Bottom Records in 1998.
I Don't Wanna Dance has that futuristic triv 00s WrongKind sound meaning that his track sounds like it was made in 2006 rather than 1998. Tha WrongKind was always lightyears ahead when it came to making music and production. I Don't Wanna Dance is about why Lil Fatal would rather have sexual intercourse than to rather dance. It's also about The Set having sex with some hot ass groupies. Think party all night long along with sex too.
Green Light is a track that is at least 130 bpm with arrhythmic fast flows. Green Light is about the OG gang leader giving the 'green light' to kill anyone who gets in their way and sell narcotics along with other drugs. If you watched the Gangland episode on LPB and Skyline, then you would know what I'm talking about.
I rate this single, I Don't Wanna Dance, 5/5*****!
