This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will review Iron Maiden - Live After Death.
Live After Death is a live album of Iron Maiden's live performance during July 1985 at the Long Beach Arena in Long Beach, California, United States. The cassette is nearly 2 hours long. Probably more than 2 hours. (Some editions of Live After Death are longer than 2 hours.) It's a 2 record set all into 1 album! There are liner notes inside the album regarding the credits. The schedule for the daily crew was very busy and hectic. A lot of stage props were used during this time of concert.
The cover art was illustrated by Derek Riggs. Eddie The Head is rising from his tombstone as usual. Even the from cover is quite skeletal as usual. (As most Iron Maid album covers are.) Iron Maiden should have performed more songs live from the Powerslave album to contribute and put onto this live album. This album possibly the greatest live album by Iron Maiden of all time so far!
If you are a hardcore Iron Maiden fan or a collector of cassettes, then this album is for you!! Every Iron Maiden fan should have this album. I rate this album, Live After Death, 5/5*****!!
