Mixerr Album Reviews #1,309

This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will review Nothing Holds You Like A Song by Gaunt Story.

Nothing Holds You Like A Song by Gaunt Story was released on their fledgling label Leise Laute Records in April 27, 2015. Nothing Holds You Like A Song sounds very similar to an exalted bedraggled novella perhaps. The songs on this album are stories created by songwriter Robert Ashworth. What happens is that Robert Ashworth creates songs that are stories with a lyrical cryptic intimacy as pretty as a soundscape. The baritone is set a standard level as most of the compositions on this album are set to a traditional 4/4 beat. Also, Robert Ashworth is multi-instrumental talented. There's no room for filler ego-centric material on this composition. In other words, there's no room for filler material on this album. Nothing Holds You Like A Song is a composition album that twists and turns itself inside out. It's great!

I rate this album, Nothing Holds You Like A Song, 5/5*****!
