The Central Catholic High School is found to be the oldest operating private school in Texas. Central Catholic High School first opened in 1842 in San Antonio, Texas as a Catholic school. Not only is Central Catholic High School oldest private school in Texas, it is also the oldest operating school in Texas and the oldest boys school for the state as well.
