Mixerr Album Reviews #2,271

Brotha Lynch Hung - Bullet Maker was a side project and digital album with and MadeSicc Muzicc that marked his comeback in 2016. Bullet Maker was his first digital EP for the 2010s era. Most of these songs were recorded before his contract with Strange Music was up. That is why he is seen on the album cover spring a silver Strange Music chain medallion.

You can expect to hear the siccmade gory horrorcore rap on this album from the rap Steven King. So expect things be eerie, disturbing, and dark. He gets very lyrical on this album also. The lyrics are smooth and on point as one would expect from the darkest storytellers in the rap game. Now that he is back in the game. His lyrical skill has not fallen off yet. Bullet Maker is one of his more lyrical albums in his discography and catalog. Now you’ll dig the production from Phonk Beta as he produced the beats for the album. His production is on point always. You can never go wrong with Phonk Beta on the beats. It’s a blessing to have Phonk Beta still gracing us with his mastery and production.

Now this album went under the radar despite being heavily promoted on the internet by Strange Music and MadeSicc Muzicc. However Strange Music and MadeSicc Muzicc could have done more to promote and advertise this album as many people seemed to have slept his album. Of course Bullet Maker is a MadeSicc project he did on the side.

The intro is quite eerie and haunting due to First Degree The DE’s presence. First Degree The DE displays his usual weirdness with his noises and lyrics. You know things are about to get siccmade when you hear First Degree The DE and Brotha Lynch Hung. A vocal sample from the movie Resident Evil is used during the intro. Anyone else notice?

Brotha Lynch Hung and G-Macc created a sick rap song that is tight called Ya Brains that has a sick beat. Brotha Lynch Hung and G-Macc are sick. Brotha Lynch Hung is still a threat them niggas out here with their lyrical skills. G-Macc graces the track with his lyrical skills and ability as does Brotha Lynch Hung. Lyrical skill is what makes this song stand out.

The song begins with a phone call. Below is what is said during the phone call.: I just got to the house, you know what I'm sayin'? Got the phone call, got all the information, you know what I'm sayin'? Had to run back to the car, pulled out the back of the garage, you know what I'm sayin’? Next thing you know.

Brotha Lynch Hung is watching and looking out for the police. The police are his meal. He sees their red beams. He is gangsterly known. His plan is to turn non-believers into believers. With the Colt Seavers of course. He’s a creep, keeper, and ripper. Notice the Jack The Ripper reference? He is doin' blows, blowin' on reefer.

Lynch kills people and cuts them up in little meat pieces. The lyrics “It'll be cheeper, get deeper then cut 'er up/Put 'er in the freezer/I guess you can call me the mad butcher/I got a little corner where I can put ya 'til it's time to eat ya/Beat beater, meat leaker, meat cooker, heat seeker/Meat eater, bleedin' your speakers with heaters/Smellin' up on premium, not a muthafucka see me/I’m a custodian, cleanin' 'em up, cleanin' 'em off” explain exactly how he kills people.

Lynch puts bullets in peoples brains. Watchin' them brains hang out after he pulls the trigger. Catchin' everything you sayin' like Randy Moss and runnin' with it. Low down and dirty with a four pounder. The game's curvy like James Worthy. The talk is nothin’.

G-Macc grabs his Calico .50 Colt which is his semiautomatic weapon of choice. He has a black duffel bag in leather gold that is empty. He aims his Calico .50 Colt at female’s throat. Here comes the grizzly part. Now she is lying there lifeless in a fetal position.Y’all wanna see some dead bitches? Listen to Mannibalector.

G-Macc the rap Steven King wrote a song about a vampire named Dracula which is what this song is primarily about. Dracula pays tribute to the British 1958 film Dracula. Bleezo plays the role of a vampire that comes from Sacramento, California called the Sacramento vampire. Brotha Lynch Hung plays the role of Mannibal Cannibal. G-Macc plays the role of the rap Steven King.

Now you’ll dig the production from Phonk Beta as he produced the beats for Dracula. His production is on point always. You can never go wrong with Phonk Beta on the beats. It’s a blessing to have Phonk Beta still gracing us with his mastery and production. His beats are raw and fit in perfectly with the esoteric hororrcore sound of course.

The song has that raw esoteric sound you would expect to hear from Brotha Lynch Hung. The lyrics are smooth and on point as one would expect from the darkest storytellers in the rap game.

You’ll dig the production from Tanqueray Locc too. Tanqueray Locc did some of the production and hooks also. His production is on point. Tanqueray Locc is a protege of Brotha Lynch Hung. Tanqueray Locc is now signed to the label MadeSicc.

Bleezo is the Sacramento vampire like Richard Chase. The Sacramento vampire is nocturnal and bloodthirsty. Like a fricking bat out of hell. He’ll slit your face with a switchblade. He hops into his whip and performs a quick escape. He’s sick alright.

Next he pulls a massacre by killing people as he runs them over in a Land Rover that is driven by him. An Acura is shot up in the process. Squeezing the knife like Lynch to see if there's life after death. You can call him Dracula.

G-Macc is the rap Steven King. He will have you “seeing things”.

He grabs the medieval weapons, pulls up at your spot, walk up the steps, and the porch light is on. So he walks around to the backyard quietly peeping in that window. 24 seconds later, he is in your bedroom. He ties you up on the sofa and kills you like a zombie. You’ll die in a minute.

So let's all get a sherm stick, walk around like zombies. It's so disgusting to where it'll make you throw up. He ain't with that soft shit.

He plans to kill all others that are still alive. They’ll die in a minute. He puts them on the sofa tied up and kills them. He then put the knife to the witnesses and cut off the lights. A stove heats up the oil. Then he fries them. A knife is used to cut through all that raw meat. Then the rap Steven King goes back to the garden. The lyrics “Cut through raw meat and I'm all evil like Kevin Mann and I saw people…” are a reference to these actions.

Brotha Lynch Hung is Mannibal cannibal. Mannibal cannibal is smoking cannabis. He is sinister.

This chainsaw massacre will be cutting up your afterburner. She dies. Then you die after her. Niggas heads getting blown up. Bodies in plastic. Then in a casket. He eats humans for dinner. This nigga is eating pussy for dinner. He chews those bitches. Fucking a dead body like you're fucking your main bitch. Afterwards that bitch is put in a ditch.

Still writing that heat even though he cannot smoke. Mannibal cannibal sniffs coke. That is no joke. He doesn’t want a Nutty Buddy peanut butter bar. These lyrics are a reference about how he writes his lyrics to his songs. “Still writing that heat nigga, even though I cannot smoke/My shit's and if you listen to my shit you probably think I sniff coke/Cause I do…”

Sleepless Nites deals with paranoia. The song has that raw esoteric sound you would expect to hear from Brotha Lynch Hung. The lyrics are smooth and on point as one would expect from the darkest storytellers in the rap game. Sleepless Nites is one of the highest songs on the album next to Ya Brains and Bullet Maker.
Brotha Lynch Hung gets very lyrical as he usually does.

These lyrics are an example of the paranoia inside of this song. “It’s always only me in life/I knew they never treat me right/In time I learn to keep a knife/And then there's them sleepless nights” You can tell by reading these lyrics that Brotha Lynch Hung gets very lyrical as he usually does. He hits this song off with his usual smoothness and siccness. So one can be too surprised with the end results.

These lyrics here are another example of the paranoia inside of this song.

[Intro: Tanqueray Locc]
...Me in life
I knew they'd never treat me right
In time I'd learn to keep the knife
and then there's all those sleepless nights

Brotha Lynch Hung is drunk off the Mad Dog 20/20. All stressed. He needs money. He already fulfilled his contractual obligations with Strange Music. What else do they want from him? He is faithful to the game like Kobe is to the Lakers. He could still drop a record in a second and still wreck shit.

Lynch does not need help from anyone else. The independent route is what he has chosen. That is his destiny. He is his own person. The lyrics show how Lynch is independent and doesn’t need help from anyone. “I don't need no help, I just go my own direction/Stay in my lane man, tired of people/Trying to give me all the game man, you're not equal” He’s a G when it comes to this rhymin’. His rhymes are as sharp as a diamond.

Lynch was on house arrest when he wrote this song as evidenced in the lyrics. “To this record I'm on home detention, I'm fucking pissed”

The lyrics here explain how he was an alcoholic at one time and his dependency on alcohol. “I used to think I had to drink, I can't live without one” and also “And if I finish this bottle I don't know how I'm gonna act/Up late, all night, like I'm smoking on crack” These lyrics refer to how bad his health is.  “Yeah, I've got a bad liver but I'll crack the yack”

He smoked six packs of cigarettes back to back. A semi-automatic is in the back of the Cadillac. He’s hella schizo and packing a pistol. Always in first place and never last. He needs shit too.

I Almost Got Away Wit It has that old school sound Brotha Lynch Hung fans have been craving and longing for at least decades. That raw rap sound. The beat is sick since Phonk Beta did the production.

The title track Bullet Maker is just as tight as Sleepless Nights. The subject matter is dark and horrifying. The song uses an enhanced piano which is actually a pianola. The musical notes played from this pianola are sustained with high modulation. Notice how chords echo under other instrumentation. Brotha Lynch Hung plays the role a serial killer called the South Side Bullet Maker in this song.

It’s not accidental that Brotha Lynch Hung took over the city of Sacramento, California like a black Frank Nitty. He killed a person and put them in a grave. Police found the body. They find Lynch alone inside a house with no lights where everything is pitch black. Having no lights to the point where everything is pitch black makes a suitable environment to hide his crimes. Police will be digging for clues at daytime.

He is about to flee town to avoid getting caught by law enforcement officials. They want him downtown. So now is the perfect time for him to leave town. Lynch is a psychopath. He kills people, puts them in a basket, and drops them in acid. Brotha Lynch Hung is the South Side Bullet Maker.

Leave them at the gravesite. They might be walking to their own funeral. He’s got a Dillon pistol ammo press and a rifle ammo press. He’s quick to pack a pistol.

Some fans compare Bullet Maker to being as good as Sleepless Nights. Some fans call Bullet Maker the best song off the album. Both Bullet Maker and Sleepless Nights are equally as great.

Outro is similar to Did It and Did It from the Loaded album due to the phone calls at the beginning and end. The outro is similar to a phonographic recording from the 20th century due to the static you can hear going on in the background.

I rate this EP 5/5*****!
