Another look at the historic brass foundry Braude Machine in Cleveland, Ohio.

The sea green colored brick building in Kinsman area of Cleveland is none other than the long forgotten Braude Machine. Braude Machine was a historic brass foundry that formerly owned by Edwin S. Braude Jr. for more than 20 years. The City of Cleveland has listed the property of Braude Machine to be located within the perimeter of a brownfield due to being a historic brass foundry. Braude Machine operated in a former foundry which was known as Horvath Foundry. Horvath Foundry was a historic brass foundry which produced and manufactured brass, bronze, and aluminum castings. Not only did Braude Machine cast metal fabrication but they also casted iron fabrication. Sometime during the 21st century is when Braude Machine begun casting iron fabrication. Braude Machine was mostly known for metalwork repair and welding. Yet they provided sheet metal construction as well as other services. Today the sea green colored brick building which now serves as Braude Machine is boarded up and sealed shut with plywood.
