History behind Northside Blanco Road Baptist Church in San Antonio, Texas explored.

Brother James Edward Murphrey was responsible for starting Northside Blanco Road Baptist Church in 1958. He started the Northside Blanco Road Baptist Church in San Antonio and conducted a daily 30 minute radio broadcast which operated every day. A new auditorium was completed and dedicated in 1960 under the leadership of Bro. Murphrey. Northside Blanco Road Baptist Church had 300 members in their congregation. Rev. Northside Blanco Road Baptist Church shut down when Brother James Edward Murphrey returned to Corpus Christi and became Assistant Director of the Good Samaritan Rescue Mission with his father, Tom Murphrey, in 1965.
