Mixerr Album Reviews #1,036

This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will write about the review for the Fo-Deep album by Fo-Deep from Flint, Michigan.

The album was released in 1994 on cassette from Deep Style Records. Fo-Deep was on. There are only 4 tracks on this cassette. The deep vocals are sung in an alto voice. Variants of the alto sax are used on the album. The mood for album is mellow. A lot of the songs are slow paced love jams. BANGTOWN is the main producer for the album as he is for all the other Fo-Deep albums.

Naked is an in bed sexual healing love song along with Mutha Nature. For some reason, Naked will remind you of DJ Screw’s style. All syruped out. Naked is a perfect song to make love to, take a bubble bath to, or play during a romantic night. In fact, Naked is the perfect love song/slow jam for a romantic night. The song itself is pretty raunchy and X-Rated.

Here we are during a hot summer night naked in a bubble bath. Legs are around necks. Vaginal sex is performed. The Naked song gets raunchy and X-Rated right in the middle. The bath was hot, warm, and steamy. It was a steamy bath. The saxophone played in the middle gives Naked that Marvin Gaye vibe.

Mutha Nature is jazz driven and heavy percussion ridden resulting in a smooth R&B melody. Respect is what we should give to Mutha Nature. An acappella accompanies the song. Fo-Deep chose an Afrocentric selection of percussion by using bongos, conga, and djembe. In other words, Fo-Deep went the Afrocentric route when they performed this song.

Mutha Nature is a dedication to the beautiful black women of the world. These females are the backbones of our families and children.

Keep It Mellow is a mellow R&B song that is a slow jam. Keep It Mellow is a mellow R&B song that also turns and transitions into a slow jam. It is quite obvious that Fo-Deep was inspired by the smooth sounds of R&B/Soul. Keep It Mellow keeps it mellow. A transition of calmness to mellow is one term to describe this track.

The Fo-Deep Theme is quite mellow, slow, and smooth. One has to owned if the Fo-Deep Theme is a slow jam. The Fo-Deep Theme the posse cut for this Fo-Deep album.
I rate this album, Fo-Deep, 4/5****!
