Mixerr Album Reviews #1,324

This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will do an album review on S. H. Dudley - The Village Choir.

This single album was made in 1899. Which was released on Victor which was owned by partner-rival record company Columbia Records. Anyway for those who do not know, Sherman Houston Dudley was a well known African-American vaudeville performer and a theatre entrepreneur. He had gained his notability in the late 19th and early 20th century as a composer and performer of ragtime songs, Dudley was of the first African-Americans to combine business with theater. Which had made him notable.

I rate this album, The Village Choir, 5/5*****.
